Mixing

Our specialty is mixing your music to help complete your masterpiece. We specialize in genres that are more focused on acoustic instruments such as drums, guitars, pianos, synths, etc. as well as the use of samples and advanced editing. Rock, Punk, Indie, Singer/ Songwriter, Pop, and many more are all in our wheelhouse.

Producing/ Arrangement

Are you a singer who plays some guitar or piano and needs help putting a fully produced song together or a band that could maybe use an outside voice to make suggestions and give unbiased input (i.e. the '5th' Beatle)? We can help!

Recording

We are fully equipped with top-shelf microphones, preamps, EQs, compressors, and recording interfaces to fulfill most tracking, recording, and voice over situations with up to 12 inputs at one time. We have a control room as well as two tracking rooms.

Studio Musicians

Do you need help playing the musical parts or instruments you do not play? We have seasoned, pro musicians at our studio as well as contacts with other incredible musicians. Guitar and bass can be provided in-house and included in a flat rate agreement.

Mastering

Do you have a mix you feel good about but would like another ear to help put the final touches on? We can run your mix through our analog gear, add a little mojo and magic, and get the levels up to competitive standards.

Pricing

Our pricing varies with each clients unique situation. Our rates are $50/hr or, calculated on a per-project basis. The bigger the project, the better your rates. How intense is the project? Just mixing? Recording? How many tracks? Does it need editing? Etc. This is calculated after a thorough conversation with our clients.

Here are some before and after examples of music we have mixed and some that we recorded/produced. Non-mixed tracks have been panned and normalized for a more fair comparison.

All final products start with what goes in: good players, performances, instruments, arrangements, and production. Having great studio gear helps, but without these key components, it becomes far more difficult to get a top-quality final product. We are big believers in 'what goes in is what comes out.' We highly recommend taking your time with your productions and putting more time upfront to get quality sounds onto tape. There is a tendency to rush through the recording process because 'the clock is ticking' and 'we can fix it later in the mix.' Trust us, we get it. Time = $$$. Almost without exception, our artists who did more investment up front did less on the back end, and got a better result without much extra cost... sometimes even less. We know not everyone is a seasoned vet or has lots of experience in a studio. That's why we are here. We can help guide you through the entire process. Our eye is always on the finished product and we want to make you as happy as possible. On our end, a happy customer is a return customer. This reflects on the work we do and potentially earns us recommendations which is the best form of advertisement we could ask for.
